Malá Úpa is a unique starting point for hikers in eastern Giant Mountains. The location of Malá Úpa on a crest of Giant Mountains offers great amount of interesting hiking and sightseeing trip options. There are several ways how to get to Sněžka, however, if you choose to walk, please note that the trail from Malá Úpa overcomes the lowest elevation and is therefore most preferred by tourists. Those who are not caught by the virgin nature of the Czech side of the Giant Mountains can head for the yet undiscovered Polish hiking trails.
